You should install Uni Xonar v1.11 and after that apply the ASIO 1.0 Patch. I suggest installing the Low DPC Latency version for start & after a couple of weeks switch to the C-Media Audio Center version.

Hi, im using the Xonar DG and im wondering if there is any way to control the speaker time delay for the rear and center speakers, like in the razer barracuda control panel.

I tried installing the C-Media audio center version of the uni drivers but was unable to find a speaker time delay option.

Hi mate, I got exactly the same reverb problem with my roccat kave headset / xonar dg while playing BC2. I have been doing some messing about with speaker volumes and found that if I turn the rear speaker volume down on the inline volume control box, it completely cures the reverb problem.
As I set the rear speaker volume higher, the reverb comes back again.
Give it a try and let me know if the same happens on your set up.

Yeah, i used to play BC2 with the rear sound slightly lower and it cured the reverb but i wasnt happy with this as i felt i was missing sounds from the rear defeating the reason i got this headset in the first place, i still get a little reverb in BC2 but nowhere near asmuch now.

Go Windows 7 audio control and untick the "Full Range speaker" option, and make sure you arent using LARGE speakers in Flexbass, this helped things for me a lot, also ive now turned off Flexbass for BC2 as i 1st thought my sub didnt work without flexbass turned on but it actually does.

I also just found that reducing the "speaker time delay" of the rear and center speakers completely solved the problem 100%. Trouble was I couldnt find anywhere in the Asus control panel (Xonar DG) that allowed me to do this, so I installed the Razer Barracuda control panel and made the adjustment from there.

The reverb problem is now solved on my system. Have you tried the above on yours ?

I had a hunch that the delay might be enabled by default, but I didn't had a way to test it. I will add a bat file that disable the delay by default and in further driver releases.

That would be really handy if you included the .bat in a future release. Because at the moment when I install the c-media panel version of the uni drivers for some reason the control panel doesnt load up when windows boots and I cant find the application anywhere to start it manually.

Although when I install the c-media drivers, before I reboot I can see the panel icon in the bottom right task bar. Trouble is the panel isnt the same as the picture you posted above. It seems to have a lot less features on it and more basic, also after reboot it disappears and wont load at windows start up.

Any ideas what could cause this ?

What OS do you have? You can start it manually from Control Panel. On win7 if I am not mistaken, the icon might be different, its may be the one with "Xear 3d" written on it.
The panel options changes depending on what output you select (6 channels, 2 channels, headphone) and also it is a little different in Win7 compared to WinXP.

I am using Windows 7 64bit and I found the Xonar audio panel in windows control panel as you said. But the panel itself is different to the panel you showed in that picture. The picture of the speaker setup on the right is different too, my picture is a green room with blue center/sub speakers, green front speakers and pink rear speakers. Also my Analog Output is drop down box to select the type of speakers, not button selection like in your pic.

Is my panel an old or different version to the one in your picture ?

I will fix the Audio panel start-up for Win7 in a new driver release.
Its not older, thats the version for Windows 7 & Vista which is slightly different from the XP one, but they both use the same file. If you cant find the delay sliders, try the batch files I posted.

Nice to know. How did you install them , with the setup or in updated your card from Device manager ?
I will add support for your card as well, but note that it will be without the Razer Control center, it will work with C-Media’s one.

I've installed it with the razer setup.
I have edited the INF file.
of sound in music is better and clearer.
    sorry for english ^^

OMG please hurry with this fix as it will make my day, i cant believe that theres no delay feature built into the Asus control panel.

im gutted it doesnt work for me, the only way to get it to stop reverb is to drop my rear speakers down a bit.

So does this .bat really fix it for you both in Bad Company 2 ?

ive even ran the .bat as admin just incase but nothing 🙁

UNi Xonar 1790 1.11 C Media audio center. HDMI doesn't output to my Onkyo AVR using SPDIF setting. The normal asus control paner works fine. I would prefer to
use the C Media conrol center if possible.

Thanks a lot for putting these together -- my Xonar Essence ST arrives in a few days, and I'm planning to use your driver package with it on my Windows 7 64-bit HTPC. Assuming all goes well, I definitely plan to donate!
