Hey, it works! And is it just me or does the sound actually feel much better now? And I am in no way familiar with audio terms, I'm really new with sound.
Win7 64-bit, Xonar DX
Two problems:
1. For some reason I still have the Xonar DX Audio Center in my computer although I uninstalled ASUS' driver (or is it also installed along with the package?)
2. The equalizer and the bar thing on the audio center is not moving when I choose 2 channels (is it supposed to be this way?)
CarvedInside17 Nov 2010 @ 22:39
1. This drivers are based on Asus drivers, so the Asus Audio Center is also installed.
2. Don't understand which one. Maybe a picture should help.
sutyi17 Nov 2010 @ 11:38
Installed the C-Media panel one to have a look at it, after two restarts it actually showed up on my tray. Now though I can't get rid of the Xear center and go back to the ASUS one. The Uni Xonar installer/uninstaller isn't working in the add/remove window. I'm on Vista SP2.
CarvedInside17 Nov 2010 @ 12:02
This is happening with v 1.25? You can try uninstalling it with Driver Sweeper. Check the FAQ section.
[later edit] Does this happen with the normal installation or only with C-Media Panel?

Yes it is with 1.25, and I tried using DS. Now I'm trying to manually remove everything Xonar / C-Media related.
With 1.25 there is no uninstaller for the Oxygen HD panel in the add/remove window.
CarvedInside17 Nov 2010 @ 17:54
Just so you know, in add/remove it appears as UNi Xonar and not as Asus Xonar Drivers.

Please read your yahoo email account for feedbacks on drivers on development.

@CarvedInsi
Re-enabling card is not a problem, i like C-Media panel 🙂 So please create batch file for enabling Front Panel on Vista/W7.

Hi there, with 1.26, installing with "Enable stereo upmix for 5.1" does not actually enable the stereo upmix for 5.1. I tried uninstalling driver and installing fresh from 1.26 and it still does not work.
I have Xonar DG, if that makes a difference?
CarvedInside18 Nov 2010 @ 10:29
What OS? Also you use Analog or Digital Output?

I know. 🙂
It just says that there is a problem with it and do I want it to remove from add/remove lost. I'm guessing the entry made by the new installer is not pointing to the uninstall properly.
rankena18 Nov 2010 @ 11:49
“Stereo upmix to 4,5.1,7.1 speakers” unnecessary manure for me.
Mercurybird18 Nov 2010 @ 20:12
Hey you've done an absolutely primo job with Xonar's crappy work. I couldn't sing your praises enough.
One request: Is it possible you could build a list of we who use the Unidrivers? Or maybe build a routine into your drivers that would notify us all of new driver updates. That way we wouldn't all have to keep coming back here to see it something new has developed. I hope so!
Again, thanks!
CarvedInside19 Nov 2010 @ 10:28
Thank you:)
Its not such a bad idea. An update routine in the drivers is highly unlikely, but a mailing list its possible. Will do a page were all those how post a comment there will be signed.

I can't seem to download the 1.26 drivers. I waited the 45 seconds for it to say "DESCARCA FISIER" and after I click on it the page could not connect. I tried it in both Google Chrome and IE. I tried today as well as the day the drivers were released.
Also, I was able to download 2.5 a couple days ago and install it and my question is, is there not a way to set the options as a 2.1 speaker setup? Or is 5.1 just my best option with no difference?
CarvedInside19 Nov 2010 @ 10:01
It doesn't work for me either. Maybe they have some sort of problem, if it doesn't solves , i will switch to another web storage site. But what about the main download link, does that work for you?
The only way is through 5.1 . I have written a guide that should give you control over subwoffer. Will post it later today or tomorrow.
Jazzman19 Nov 2010 @ 02:16
Is it possible to get front panel jack switching on the C-Media panel?
CarvedInside19 Nov 2010 @ 09:51
For now, only with a batch file which I will post later today. Note that after running it you need to either restart your system or disable/enable your Xonar card in Device manager.
eduardo19 Nov 2010 @ 23:02
That damn Asus driver almost blew my speakers (and my ear drums). I dual boot Win 7 64bit and Kubuntu and the Asus card works fine with Kubuntu. Thanks so much for this driver! Great work!
tamastek20 Nov 2010 @ 02:17
Hi, I use Windows 7 x64 and I tried the new 1.26 driver. If I do a normal install, then it works fine. However, if I install it with the ASIO 1.0 patch then Windows still says it cannot verify the digital signature.
CarvedInside20 Nov 2010 @ 12:08
The weird thing is I don't know why some people get the digital signature error, and some don't. I have a suggestion, try ASIO 4 ALL. I think its a better option that using Asio Patch. But if you want I can try to sign the files in ASIO patch.
Jazzman20 Nov 2010 @ 03:48
Thanks, it's good but I'd rather use the standard panel until the panel switching is instant.
Mark20 Nov 2010 @ 04:00
Wow just downloaded your newest released. Realy improved, especially the setup. Automatically installs asio patch and aopen! Works great for my Xonar D2 on WinXP! Thanks again.
In the future you might add a skin like this: http://dobee.deviantart.com/art/Asus-Xonar-Custom...
CarvedInside20 Nov 2010 @ 12:04
I really like this skin: http://pawel-321.deviantart.com/art/Current-deskt...
I left a message for the author, maybe he is willing to publish the skin.

FooBar v1.1 column UI windows 7 x64 asus Xonar D2X UNI 1.25 normal. ASIO not popping at all here. Whatz wrong with the down load link? both are near dead, it should not matter if 1.25 is fine, correct.
CarvedInside20 Nov 2010 @ 12:01
Thats correct, if its working great you shouldn't update. I did the the downgrade on ASIO because its more stable. It seams that occasionally download links don't work .
