CarvedInside14 Jul 2011 @ 15:47
I don't have much free time these days. Will try to check things out but can't make you any promises for now. Sorry.

Hi CarvedIns,
Thanks a lot for your reply, that was the only reason which stops me to update to new drivers, I just came up with an idea to create system tray app, which could create user profiles settings (personalized settings for Movie, Music, Game etc).
What you think?
Regards
Zee
CarvedInside14 Jul 2011 @ 15:19
No problem.
Regarding the application, the thing is that its not so easy. Simply saving and loading the registry won't work you need to also send the new settings to the audio driver.
I thought about making a new control panel that could have something like this, but I don't have that much time right now to actually try something like this.
Davy12 Jul 2011 @ 22:23
Installed the driver, but When i start it, nothing shows up? Xonar D1 here, and device manager shows an " !" behind the Xonar D1
also Do i only use these drivers or use these beside the offical asus drivers?
Davy13 Jul 2011 @ 00:15
Nvm that, it works like a charm! thank you for this awesome driver fix !
Jeff13 Jul 2011 @ 03:31
Thanks 😀
matt13 Jul 2011 @ 11:59
thank you for your hard work love the drivers would love to donate for this!
Davy13 Jul 2011 @ 12:51
Strange when i Restarted my computer the drivers just dissappeared is this normal?
CarvedInside14 Jul 2011 @ 15:43
No.
Which Windows do you have. If you have windows 7 try the version that Virus uploaded. Maybe your problems are also caused by signature errors.
Roman13 Jul 2011 @ 19:09

Hey, Carved! Great update and flawless work as always. I just wanted to ask my question again, since you did not reply, but that's fine because you were busy. So here it goes:
Is it possible to have two separate sliders for volume levels for the headphones ands speakers on a STX card? I used to have an M-Audio Revolution which had this option, which looks like this: http://www.ixbt.com/multimedia/m-audio-revolution...
Thank you for your time and effort! It's greatly appreciated!
CarvedInside14 Jul 2011 @ 15:25
Sorry, I am trying to answer the questions from comments and mails, but I don't seem to have to much free time.
Short answer no. The only thing would be if I make a new Audio Panel ( see the answer above) and make to separate values that are loaded when changing Headphones or Speakers.
-=WolverinE=-15 Jul 2011 @ 09:21
No worries, man. I don't want to stress you with this... just wanted to know if it's possible. Sadly, loading a second tray icon would be even more time consuming than changing the volume between headphones and speakers. Thank you for your time! 🙂
CarvedInside15 Jul 2011 @ 09:26
You understood things wrong. What I meant was making a replacement for the current Audio Panels.
-=WolverinE=-16 Jul 2011 @ 07:22
Oooh, I see. Well that seems like a lot of work. If you really have nothing else to do, then I guess you could consider it a request. 🙂

Carved couldn’t figure out what is causing the driver signature errors, but I exactly know what is wrong. INF files must match checksums from CAT file. So if you have driver signature error (not signed driver) please try this package:

If this is right, and @Carvedinside hasn't tried this already, I hope he sees this, and will be a great step forward.
CarvedInside14 Jul 2011 @ 15:30
Actually talked to Virus before he fixed the problem. And today as soon as I go home will upload this version.

Thanks for the update @carvedinside but I think there might be a compatibility issue with S.T.A.L.K.E.R, my game seems to freeze/crash a lot since the 1.40 was installed. Maybe just a coincidence. Anyone else get that? Funny enough When I removed saves previous to the driver installation and loaded up an auto-save into a new area, the freezing crash stopped although it still has its loading area stutter but the its occurs longer than usual now.
kevinf6315 Jul 2011 @ 14:25
oh yeh, forgot to mention thanks for adding the asio panel to the c-media audio panel as my settings didn't stick when I did it through the normal Xonar audio center. Reassuring to know its playing in 24-bit now.
